Retired Railway Employees are facing many difficulties in registering on HRMS and generating digital passes. This post is written to address these issues. We hope that by following the simple steps provided below, you will be able to make full use of the HRMS services.
How to Register as a Retired/Pensioner on HRMS? Step by Step
- First, you need to visit the official HRMS website. Click Here
- The login window for the HRMS website will appear. To log in, you need an HRMS ID and password. Since our retired railway employees do not have this, there’s an option specifically for them named ‘Retired Employee Registration’. Click on this option as shown in the image below.
3. After clicking on the ‘Retired Employee Registration’ tab, a new window will open. Here, you need to fill in your PPO No. and Date of Birth, then click ‘Go’. After clicking ‘Go’, your details like HRMS ID, employee name, position, and mobile number will appear. Note down the HRMS ID for future reference.

- Now, open the HRMS official website in your browser, enter the HRMS ID and password, and log in. The default password is ‘Test@123’, which you can change later. After logging in and entering the OTP, your HRMS profile will open, where you can generate passes, PTOs, withdraw PF funds, and more.
Note: If your mobile number is not registered or is incorrect in HRMS, you can update it both offline and online. For online updates, you’ll need to download a form and upload it.
